Corrections Policy

True Impact Health aims to publish health information that is accurate, up to date and easy to understand. When we get something wrong, we fix it openly and quickly.

How to report an error

Every article ends with a Report an error link. You can also use our contact form or email info@trueimpacthealth.com. Please tell us which article and which statement you think is wrong and, if possible, include a link to a reliable source.

What happens next

  1. We check it. An editor reviews the report against current guidance from trusted sources such as national health services, medical bodies and peer-reviewed research.
  2. Medical review. If the error concerns medical or veterinary facts, the article is sent to one of our reviewers before it is changed.
  3. We correct it. Confirmed errors are corrected promptly and the article’s “Updated” date is changed.
  4. We tell you. If you gave us your email address, we let you know the outcome.

Types of changes

  • Corrections: fixing a factual or medical error. Significant corrections are noted at the end of the article.
  • Updates: adding new guidance, research or information. These change the “Updated” date.
  • Minor edits: spelling, grammar, broken links or formatting. These are not noted separately.
